Lotus 60th Anniversary

Lotus Esprit World attended Lotus 60th Anniversary at the factory in Hethel on 14th September 2008. The event was huge and much more than we were expecting. With the weather fine for once, Lotus got more than they expected with around 5,000 cars heading for Hethel. Most people experienced traffic grid-lock around the factory, at worst taking 2.5 hours to make the short journey from the A11. Eventually the Police got hold of the situation and everyone got there in the end.

Once finally inside the whole factory was open for viewing, including the Elise production Line, the Envora Experience (which was excellent), Design Centre, Workshop and much more. There was also plenty of Food stalls, which were very busy. Plenty of Toilet facilities for all those people. Too be honest, there was way to much to take in, so we're going to take the easy way out and let the pictures tell the story. Enjoy
